A New Semester is here and we would love for you to come be apart of MOPS!  Click here to register now.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  MOPS exists to meet the needs of all mothers of preschoolers from all walks of life who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!  MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

Our theme for 2007-08, the HOME factor: BEGIN HERE...GO THERE, will enrich our perspective and hones our abilities to create a cocoon of home.  Our homes, must be safe places—physically and also emotionally safe.  In them we bond, we eat and play and rest together, we decorate and provision our special homes spaces.   But at its healthiest, our home experience should fill us and launch us into wider circles of investment and influence where we interact with our world.  We return HOME to reconnect and refuel—but we’ll move from the HOME outwards to make a difference.

Contact Noelle Alvis or Wendy Teh for more information on how to join.

“he lives with you and will be in you.” JOHN 14:17

ABOUT MOPS

MOPS is led by mothers of preschoolers and is designed to help mothers build relationships and find the strength and encouragement during those early mothering years.

Each MOPS meeting begins with lattes, a meal, and a time for socializing.  We have great speakers on topics that are relevant to moms during this season of life, followed by a discussion in your small group.  Not only that, but we have fun by doing crafts and participating in other creative activities.

Each mom will be apart of a small discussion group.  This allows moms the opportunity to develop valuable friendships and feel comfortable sharing in an accepting environment.  Groups get together for play dates during the year, providing more opportunities to grow relations for moms and their children.

What is our MOPPETS Program?

MOPPETS provides loving care for children through kindergarten.  While mothers attend the MOPS meetings, the children enjoy a curriculum to meet their needs.  The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment.

Benefits for Children:

· Social growth through group activities and play.

· Spiritual growth through Bible stories and values relevant to their lives.

· Physical, emotional, and creative development through crafts, games, snacks, and songs.
